"Walking down toward east on Hokkoku Road from Takada Castle, you will come to the Inada police box. The bridge between there and Inada-cho is called Inada Bridge.
Because the bridge was built over the narrowest part of the Seki River, it used to be often damaged by floods.
In Edo period, it was a very busy bridge which many people crossed.
Below the bridge, there used to be a stone statue of Bosatsu under a huge zelkova tree. The stature was removed because of river works, and the whole surroundings there had been changed."

The present Inada Bridge was
built in July 1987 (Showa 62).
